Read and keep the operating instructions

These operating instructions are part of this balance board and contain important information on commissioning and use.

Read the operating instructions carefully before using the balance board. This applies in particular to the safety instructions. Otherwise you could injure yourself or damage the Balanceboard.

These operating instructions are based on the standards and regulations valid in the European Union. Please also observe country-specific guidelines and laws abroad. Keep this manual for future reference. If you pass the balance board on to a third party, it is essential that you also hand over these operating instructions.

SECURITY

Intended use

The balance board is designed exclusively for persons with a maximum weight of 120 kg. It is intended for private home use only and is not suitable for commercial applications. The Balanceboard may only be used by children who are supervised by an experienced friend or by an adult responsible for their safety.

Use the balance board only as described in this user manual. Any other use is considered improper and may result in property damage. The manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Risk of injury!

Using the balance board can be dangerous if you are not careful.

- Make sure that you always wear appropriate protective equipment (e.g. sneakers, knee and elbow pads, sports gloves, safety helmet).

- Use the balance board only on flat, dry surfaces that are free of sand, gravel, stones and other objects and preferably on hard surfaces (e.g. concrete, floors made of wood/laminate (caution: damage possible) etc. or specially constructed surfaces e.g. surfaces for skateboarding).

- Jumping onto the balance board can be dangerous and could lead to injuries.

- Do not pull or push people standing on the balance board. This could result in injury.

- Do not use the balance board on public roads or paths.

Under certain circumstances, small parts may detach from the cork roller. Children under the age of 8 can choke on these parts. Keep these parts away from children.

- Children under 8 years old may use the balance board only if accompanied and instructed by a person responsible for their safety.

- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 120 kg.

- Make sure that children do not play with the packaging. They may get caught in it while playing and choke or swallow parts of it.

- Note to parents: Parents are advised to read the safety instructions together with their child/children.

Improper use of the balance board can cause damage to the balance board.

- Inspect the balance board and accessories before each use. Do not use the balance board or any accessories if they are damaged, cracked, broken or deformed.

- Do not immerse the balance board and accessories in water or other liquids.

- Protect the board and accessories from moisture, dripping or splashing.

- Use only the original accessories.

- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.

- Do not use the balance board in damp or wet areas.

- Never store the balance board in such a way that it can fall down.

- Never expose the balance board or accessories to high temperatures (e.g. an oven) or weather conditions (e.g. rain).

- Do not make any aesthetic changes to the balance board or accessories. Use the balance board and accessories only as recommended by the manufacturer.

- Do not place loads heavier than 120 kg on the Balanceboard, either during use or when not in use.

Risk of damage!

If you open the packaging carelessly with a knife or other sharp or pointed object, the balance board may be accidentally damaged. Therefore, be very careful when opening it.

Make sure that all components and accessories are present (see Fig. A). The balance board is ready for immediate use.

Take the balance board out of the packaging and check whether the balance board and accessories are defective or damaged. If this is the case, do not use the balance board. Contact the manufacturer's service address.

OPERATION

- Place your dominant foot on one side (outer third) of the board, keeping the other foot on the ground at first.

- Once your dominant foot is secure on the board, slowly shift your weight from one side of the board to the other. Try to keep your balance.

- Repeat this process a few times.

- If you manage to keep your balance, you can try to move the board slightly back and forth by slowly moving your whole body.

- To stop the balance board, carefully shift your weight to one side until the board touches the ground. Now put one foot back on the ground. Now you can safely get off.

APPLICATION OF THE BALANCE BOARD

- Place the cork roll in front of you. Check that the roll does not slip on the floor. We recommend using a rubber mat that adheres well to the floor and on which the cork roller cannot slip.

- Place the balance board with its center on the cork roller so that it is at a 90° angle to the roller.

- Place your dominant foot on one side (outer third) of the board, keeping the other foot on the ground at first.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Improper handling and use of the balance board can damage the balance board and negatively affect its performance.

- Do not allow liquids, solvents or strong cleaners to get on the board or cork roller. The substances could corrode the components and cause hazards.

- The cork roller is an essential accessory to the board and can be replaced. There is no set schedule for replacing the cork roller. However, if the roller is damaged or worn, it should be replaced with a new one.

Improper handling of the balance board can lead to damage.

- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon brushes, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard spatulas and the like. These could damage the surfaces.

- Do not immerse the balance board in water or other liquids, as this could damage important components of the balance board.

Cleaning

- If contaminated, use only water or a mild soap solution on a slightly damp sponge to clean or wipe the board.

- Allow the balance board to dry completely before storing.

MAINTENANCE

- Make sure all parts are completely dry before storing.

- Always store the balance board in a dry place.

- Keep the balance board away from direct sunlight, extreme weather conditions, and heat sources.

- Store the balance board in such a way that it cannot fall down.

Dispose of packaging
